Ryan came to visit us again this weekend. He arrived early on Saturday night while you were being taken care of by the babysitter and mommy and daddy were at a wedding. Ryan walked around the neighborhood and took some nice photos below. He took most of the pictures in this post. The bad thing is we have no pictures of Ryan!! We'll have to fix that next time.
On Sunday morning we had a bit of a slow start. In fact we played some Guitar Hero III for a while to get the groggies out. Sophia looks pretty good with a guitar. You seemed a willing audience. You were glad to see Ryan and were all smiles. To Sophia, he's known as the man on the couch because that's where she found him the first time.
After we motivated we decided to go to Park Slope for breakfast at Stone Park Cafe. Unfortunately there was a bit of a wait so we headed over to Joe's for coffee and in Sophia's case some hot chocolate. She really likes hot chocolate.
I think she has something on her face there. Our secret.
At Stone Park Cafe, you had fun playing hide and go seek with the napkin and checking out the young girl behind you.
Sophia played with mommy and was laughing it up.
After that she decided I was a jungle gym and started climbing all over me.
After that we headed home. It's still a little chilly out so you still need your funny hat.
Sophia found a little flower outside and ripped the top of it off. Bad girl!
After that Daddy went out with Ryan. We went to the West 14th street station to take some pictures of some sculpture by an artist called Otterness that is in the station. You'd like it. It's kind of cartoonish.
Strangely enough he had a big installation right next to our apartment. Sophia was too scared to go near it.
Here's another funny one from the subway station.
Then I went with Ryan to a show called Fuerza Bruta. It was a performance art show. It was very clever. You would have liked it but it might have scared you a little bit.
Next time we'll have to take some pictures of Ryan with you two so you remember him when you're older. Thanks for stopping by Ryan.
