Happy 3rd Birthday

Today you are 3 years old. You have come a long way. I haven't done a post in a while on what you can do so here it is:

• You are a very mischievous boy.  You love doing bad things.  So much so that I get you to do good things by telling you not to do them.  "Caden don't eat that broccoli!".  You eat it and laugh.
• You are playful with you sister but sometimes like to annoy her.  You are lucky you have such a nice sister who shares with you and takes care of you when you are hurt or sad about something.
• You are a big boy.  You surprise people when they lift you.  You aren't especially tall but you are very heavy.  Sophia weighs 45lbs and you weigh 41lbs.
• You like kissing compared to Sophia.  You are all kisses from mommy and daddy all the time.
• When you sleep you have this funny habit of groaning.  Usually just before you wake up.  It's almost like a long sigh or like you are doing vocal warmups before singing.  It's monotone and lasts for a good 5 seconds or so.
• You have a cute lisp.  Instead of saying "whistle" you say "whithle"
• You can talk pretty well but not great yet.  You have trouble communicating some stuff but you get by.  When you talk a little better I'll teach you to read.
• You are very outgoing.  You love chatting especially with grown ups.  Once on the elevator you talked to the lady who got in with us. "Where are you going?"  "I'm doing the laundry" "The laundry?" "Yes."  "Oh.  When we got out you said, "The laundry is over there."  Actually you said "The laundry is over dare."
• When you are asleep you look very peaceful.
• When you wake up you talk with an annoying whiny voice and you are invariably cranky.  I tell you to use your "normal voice" and then you talk normally.
• When you wake up your first move is always for the refrigerator and a bottle of milk.  We usually put one in the night before so you don't have to wake us up.
• Even though you are outgoing you get needy for mommy once and a while.
• You are constantly getting hurt.  You bump into things all the time.  You can even fall over just standing in one place.  At your birthday you cracked your front teeth.  Thankfully they are still baby teeth.  I think it is because you are so heavy.  
• You climb into our bed every single morning.  You don't sleep much.  You are always the first one up.  I've never woken up and seen you sleeping.
• You still love Thomas the Tank Engine.  You are starting to like Batman, Star Wars and Ironman.
• We try to read a book every night and you always pick a train engine book.  Every book you take out from the library is a train book.
• You still have chubby legs and baby fat.  I'll be sad when it is gone.
• You don't like to feed yourself.  You prefer to have someone else do it.
• You love vegetables.  In most cases you'll eat vegetables before almost anything else.
• Your favorite "food" is chocolate milk.  Hands down.
• You are a big fan of condiments on their own - soy sauce, ketchup, mustard, worchestershire sauce, etc.
• You always wear a baseball cap like daddy.
• Your hair sticks straight up when you wake up.  Good thing you like wearing a baseball cap
• You love toy guns.  When you shoot you say "pew pew" or "kill kill"
• You have a crush on Sophia's friends Carter who has an awesome set of toys.  You always want to go to her house.
• You still have an "ugly doll" (Big Toe) which is a security blanket for you.  In fact now you have 3.
