On Saturday we headed to breakfast at Kitchenette. We got there a little early so we stopped by the nearby park and played with some other kids.
They even had a train there. Your favorite.
Breakfast wasn't so good for you. You just aren't a big eater. You only wanted a cupcake that was on display. After that we picked up some knives we had sharpened and then headed home. After your nap we took the subway again. This time up to midtown to the Red Caboose. A model train store with other things like cars and trucks and planes. This is in the lobby. You went crazy.

We went into the back down the stairs and there was another display case. We were here for about 15 minutes.
Then we went into the store proper. You wanted every train. Unfortunately they were all trains for grown ups. I showed you some cars and you would have none of it. All you wanted were the trains.
After that I thought we'd head over to Toys R Us. The big one in Manhattan. They had Thomas and Friends stuff there including this nice layout. Because you were a good boy all day I picked up Henry for you.
And downstairs we maybe found something Santa Clause might bring.
After that we headed home for the night.
The next day we hung around the neighborhood. It was supposed to rain and I didn't want to get caught with you out in Central Park which was the original plan. We went to the park a couple of times and also stopped off at Starbucks for a chocolate milk. You are like Sophia with absolutely no ability to enjoy your treats. You just sat their motionless and expressionless as you drank it all up. Check out the movie.
