Egg'stravaganza

Today we went to the South Street Seaport for an Easter egg hunt. We left Daddy at home because he had a tummy ache - poor Daddy. We decided to go early and met some friends who were waiting in line.

May, Mike and Joshua were so excited to see Sophia and you! Luckily there were only a few families ahead of us.

First stop was a mini-grassy area for an egg hunt - Sophia was only interested in picking up the pink eggs!

Sophia was not too excited to take a photo with the Easter Bunny. . .

. . . but not as upset as Joshua. Poor thing!

Then we traded in the easter baskets with plastic eggs for tote bags. We were supposed to turn in both baskets, but Sophia threw a fit so we kept one in the tote bag. Next, we found an open area to camp out since it was already getting crowded. They also provided yummy snacks for the kids - juice boxes, granola bars, chips and trail mix. Sophia was so happy to have a juice box since we never have juice at home. Sophia also found some heart stickers and gave some star stickers to Joshua.

You were content to check out the scene.

May enjoyed holding you too - Mike and May are expecting baby #2 this summer. They will have their hands full soon.

After more snacks, May took Joshua and Sophia to another arts & crafts table to decorate paper plates. Of course, Sophia only glued pink and purple things to it!

Around 1:30PM, it was time to go since both Joshua, Sophia and you were getting tired. We took a cab home. After some lunch, Sophia opened the special treat from May - an Easter decorated cupcake. Yummy! What a fun day!
