Today I took you to see Dr. Turner for your two-week check-up. Great news - you have gained one pound since we left the hospital. You now weigh 8 pounds! Yesterday (June 7) was your official due date so you would have been a big baby if I carried you for the full 40 weeks (you were born two weeks early).
Dr. Turner said everything looks good, and your jaundice has cleared up. Your next appointment will be at 2 months (July 23) when you will receive your first round of vaccinations.
