8th Birthday Party

Today was your 8th birthday party. It was held at Dave & Busters which is kind of a Chucky Cheese for grown-ups. But they also do kids parties. You went to a similar party a few weeks ago which is why you wanted your party there. We arrived a little early to set up. It was in a big mall near Sunset.

The room was nice and overlooked the crazy touristy area on the Walk of Fame. You can see the stars of actors and other artists on the sidewalk. You can also see some of the panhandlers dressed up as famous characters trying to score some money from people wanting pictures with them. We saw Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, Master Chief, Freddie Krueger, etc.

Sophia helped set up and as always had to make everything perfect.

The theme was Minecraft and mommy made most of the decorations from ideas she found online. Pretty clever.

At the last party at D&Bs everyone played these horrible gambling games where you win tickets that you can use to buy stuff. It's total ripoff. Thankfully this time you guys actually played video games. Most of them were driving games and shooting games.

The food is pretty good at D&Bs. Especially the sliders. But you wanted chicken nuggets.

We had a cake and cup cakes but no one ate that much. We ended up giving the cake to the people who worked there because we didn't want to haul it home.
