Today was my birthday. On Saturday morning before we left for the Owen's summer house in Connecticut you gave me some presents and cards. I got some nice cooking stuff and two lovely cards from both of you. I always look forward to the cards more than the presents because they are all hand made.
As always Sophia made a very detailed and well though out card. Granny would just love her artwork and cards because she tends to fill up all the space with something and granny would always tell me to do the same when I was little (I never did).
Your card however was more surprising in that it wasn't just scribbles. Normally you just don't have the patience to draw anything or spend any time on it. But this time you actually put some effort into drawing lots of stick figures that were representations of everyone in our family. Although your explanation of who was who kind of changed over time.
