Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend was a long weekend because of Thanksgiving. We did quite a few things:
  • Thanksgiving dinner at the Roebucks (Sophia is friends with their daughter, Carter and you love going to their house because she has lots and lots of toys). We had ham, turkey, creamed onions, brussel sprouts, stuffing, gravy, cranberies, and lots of desserts. Everything came out well and we had a lot of fun.
  • You had your Thanksgiving Day for BFS where you sang songs with Tony, the music teacher.  Just like Sophia you weren't too into the singing and kept your participation to a minimum.  But you had a good time and were happy to see us on a "school day".
  • Brunch over at the Owens' house. Steve and Lisa have two boys Luke and Connor that are near your age.
  • A trip to the Liberty Science Museum in New Jersey. We've never been there before and it was a nice museum of different science things. You enjoyed the Skyscraper exhibit and the large expanding/contracting ball in the lobby (it's called a Hoberman Sphere).  Unfortunately you were tired and ended up taking a nap with Mommy for about half of our stay.
  • Sophia made her Christmas gift list and also yours (what a nice sister you have) and wrote it down in a letter for Santa that we will mail off.
Another funny thing both of you are doing is saying "konichiwa" which is hello in Japanese. You combine it with a hands together bow.  You in particular have trouble saying it and we all laugh.
