Goodbye Day - Last Day of the Family Center

Last Friday was the last day of the Family Center – next year you will be in official preschool. Since I was one of the class parents for the Family Center, I had to prepare the year-end teacher gifts. Since they were heavy, we took a car to school this morning – hooray!

You were a little confused because you thought the train set was another birthday present. Teddy and you played with the box.

Then you played with cars with Vincent and Oscar.

Next we sat in a circle and sang songs with your teacher Linda. At first you insisted on sitting on my lap. Finally you hopped off and sat with your friends for the numbers song.

After a cute slideshow and a goodbye book read by Hannah, we enjoyed a special snack – yummy cookies and juice.

Since Daddy couldn’t make it this morning, I asked Myra to pick you up early so that I could watch Sophia’s performance at Goodbye Day. Hooray – summer vacation starts!
