Today your school organized a community service day to help clean up Red Hook Ballfields. When we arrived, we were assigned to help paint the front wall brick red - it was a bit of a disaster because you painted more on your face and hands than what you were able to paint on the wall. After we finished painting, it was time for lunch.
After lunch, we helped re-seed the ballfields.
Sophia and you had fun raking. . . .
. . . and tossing seeds onto the field with your friends from school.
After all of that hard work, we drove to IKEA next door to enjoy some frozen yogurt and then went home to relax for the rest of the day.
