Aquarium

Today we headed out to the Aquarium near Coney Island.  It is one of Sophia’s favorite things to do.

We had to renew our membership for another year. 

The sea lions for some reason were just lounging around near the wall.  This is a shot looking down on them.

You were not so impressed.  You were just happy to be outside and free to run around.

Sophia’s favorite section is usually the jellyfish.

Not a real walrus thank goodness.

This one is real though.  I think he likes Sophia.

After that we headed to Chinatown Brasserie for some dim sum.  It was very good as usual.  But the two of you were in a particularly cranky mood.

Then we walked around a bit and went into the Scholastic Book store.  What a great store.  They had lots of great books and fun things for kids to do.  Did i mention you were all in a bad mood!  Sophia looks really angry.

And the main reason we headed out today was to return a vanity toy Sophia got from her cousins that had the wrong pieces in it.  Mommy set it up while daddy did some cooking.  Sophia just LOVED it.  And she had to wear her Sleeping Beauty dress too.  I think we are going to have our hands full with her.  Can’t you grow up a little more quickly so we can get some remote controlled cars and video games and more guy stuff?
