While he is away, we had a busy day. We started the morning with a run across the Brooklyn Bridge. I bought a new double jogging stroller - check it out!

Now Sophia and you don't have to fight over who will go running with Mommy.

After our run, we picked up some bagels and coffee for our breakfast playdate with Jenny, Alden and baby Jalen. Sophia and you loved eating bagels with cream cheese - I think you enjoyed the smoked salmon even more since you two ate the entire package! Alden and Sophia also enjoyed juice boxes - a special treat when we have guests.

Sophia also wanted to be a bride this morning - only problem is she said she wanted to marry Gordon, so Alden was a bit heart-broken.

Cute photo of Alden and Jalen who is now 4 weeks old - he was a big baby at 10 pounds at delivery. WOW - he is going to be a really big boy someday!

After your nap, we went to the library to check out some books. You loved pulling books out of the stacks while Sophia flipped through magazines with Ariel and Dora. On the way home, we stopped at the big green park so that you two could run around.

Sophia befriended another Asian girl and played soccer with her - she loves her new hot pink bouncy ball.

I also brought the rocket balloon pump and Sophia chased the balloons down.

After the park, it was baths, dinner and DVDs at home. You went to sleep ealier than normal since you missed an afternoon nap. Daddy just called while Sophia and I were reading books in bed. He had a fun day walking around Seattle and doing all of the things we loved to do when we used to live there. He is going to have a fun night out with the guys at Palace Kitchen - I have a feeling things are going to get ugly so I hope Som, Ryan, or one of the other guys will send some photos.
