Fourth of July

This weekend we had a long weekend. Fourth of July! As usual we went over to The Liu's to celebrate since they are a 2 blocks from our apartment and they have a nice rooftop deck view of the fireworks.

They had lots of fun activities for both of you. There was a pail of water and water guns. There were a few fights but some uptight parents put and end to it quickly. I was pretty sure you were going to go head first into that pail

The lady on the left just loved you. Her kids were grown up and you could tell she missed when they were small.

Sophia and I camped out for some front row seats for a while. At least she had a comfy seat and something to lean on.

We also got to eat some hot dogs and cupcakes for dinner.

Here's the pretty view. No real shots of the fireworks since we only brought our point and shoot camera that doesn't work well at night. Last year you were only a month old and fell asleep naturally. But this year you stayed up late and got to see the fireworks. Yay.
