Visit to Seattle

This week we went to Seattle. Mommy had to work and Daddy took a few days off. Our first stop was to the Pike Place Market. We always go here to get a halibut sandwich at a little table top diner and to get doughnuts. Here's one of the fishmongers at the market.

Both of you were quite tired when we arrived and slept through most of it.

Here's the doughnut company. They make tiny doughnuts. Sophia woke up after she saw them.

Her favorites were the ones with the blue sprinkles on them.

This is the main fishmonger. They throw fish around at this place. And they also scare little boys and girls. But I won't tell you how they do that. We'll save it for another day. I don't want to spoil the surprise :).

Unfortunately you two also spent some time in daycare. You didn't mind going but Sophia was upset going once and upset leaving once as well. She met someone named Sabrina who she was very attached to. When she left with her mommy Sophia cried and cried.

We also threw a little party one day for all our friends. It was thrown at a big gym for kids with lots of things to play on. You can see some of them here. You can go down slides and jump up and down on them. They are all inflated with air so it was very safe and soft to jump around. The men had more fun than the kids I think.

We were all very excited to play but we had to wait for the guests to arrive.

Downstairs there was a lobby area so we hung out there.

That didn't stop Sophia from having fun though.

Finally after everyone came we headed down to the gym. You can see how big the slides were.

And she liked playing on some of the animals too. Next time we'll go when you are bigger and can play on them too.

After that we were all very tired. So we headed upstairs to a room where we had some food. Pizza...

...and cupcakes! Although you got by on milk and some baby food.

One night we headed to one of our favorite restaurants - Monsoon. Sophia was busy talking on the phone the whole time though.

We took Somanna out because he was nice enough to let us stay at his place the whole time.

You were very happy about that because he has a nice house.

Here Sophia is with Zlatka at daycare. She just loves you and Sophia. She was so nice and bought Sophia a nice playdoh set for a Christmas present and you a set of stackable rings.
