Today we went to another beach close to Town called Jetties Beach – there was a sandbar about 100 feet from the shore. Sophia had fun running and splashing around in the shallow waters, running from one side of the sandbar to the other.

Here we are standing on the sandbar during low tide.

For some reason, Sophia wanted to lay down in the water and dip her head back like she is floating in a swimming pool.

We also found a tiny hermit crab – Sophia is holding it in her hand. Unfortunately she dropped the hermit crab as we were walking back to the shore.

Nice shot of Patty, Max, Sophia and me.

When we reached the shore, we checked out the big hole that Marcela dug for Jake. Sophia went inside the hole with Jake and poured water on herself like she was taking a shower.

Meanwhile, you spent the morning with Girlie in the shade under an umbrella. At 9 weeks, going to the beach is not much fun for you since you need to stay out of the sun.

Before noon, we packed up all of our stuff and headed indoors to avoid the harsh sun. What a fun day at the beach!
