Today we met Patty and her family at Children's Beach which is located along Nantucket Harbor. It is a shallow beach and has lifeguards on duty which makes this beach popular for kids. There is also a playground, grassy area and bandstand where they hold music/dance/yoga classes for kids too.
Sophia had fun in the playground and then I took her down to the beach. Sophia loved walking around the shallow water to cool off. There was another boy playing in the water nearby - he walked out into deeper water (he was a bit taller) so Sophia followed him until her head was only above water. She was quite daring and continued to follow him until her head went under and I had to pull her up.
Sophia also had fun splashing around with Max and Jake. Their nanny, Marcela, also pulled her around on their boogie board. WHEE!
While we played on the beach, Girlie watched you in the grassy area under the shade of some trees.
